A Safe, Creative & Supportive Space for Your Child

Helping children grow in confidence, creativity, and academic progress.

Succedo gives children a calm, encouraging space where learning feels enjoyable and confidence grows naturally. With steady guidance, students make real academic progress, strengthen resilience and often earn recognised qualifications and UCAS points along the way.

When a Child Feels Supported, Everything Changes

Your child deserves a place where they feel seen, encouraged, and understood.

When children enter the right environment, they feel safe to try, begin to take small risks and soon realise they are capable of far more than they believed. I want parents to feel welcomed and reassured at Succedo, knowing their child will be understood, supported as an individual and encouraged to grow at their own pace. A calm and encouraging setting helps children relax, engage willingly and build confidence in both creative and academic learning.

The arts strengthen skills like communication, memory and self-expression, which naturally support progress in subjects such as maths, English and science. By combining arts with academic support, Succedo helps children develop socially, emotionally and academically so they can move forward with curiosity and confidence.

Meet Natalie Persaud, Founder of Succedo Arts

Experienced educator, compassionate guide, and mum who understands.

I have spent more than twenty years working with children, young people and adults through education, performing arts and creative development.

My background includes drama, dance and performance, alongside academic training in psychology and a Masters in Education. After observing my accomplishments and positive contributions to the development in teaching and learning practices, I was invited by Ofsted for Inspector training. I have worked as a lecturer, senior practitioner, mentor, trainer and Principal at the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts.

I started Succedo because I wanted to bring together my experience in teaching, mental health, wellbeing and creative practice to create a space where children feel supported, confident and ready to succeed. The values I bring to Succedo are care, consistency, honesty and a genuine belief in every child’s potential, especially those who may be anxious, shy or neurodivergent.

Parents often tell me they appreciate my calm, warm and grounded approach, and I want every family to feel that their child is understood, valued and in safe, knowledgeable and caring hands.

Clear, Fair Pricing for Families

Accessible, transparent, and rooted in your values.

We use clear and simple hourly rates for both one-to-one sessions and small group sessions. Prices are adjusted based on the length of the session so families only pay for the time they need. Many of our students choose a combination of subjects, so we also offer bespoke pricing tailored to each child’s programme.

Our current offers for a start are:

Your Child’s Creative Home

A safe, welcoming space designed for learning.

The Crescent Primary School, Selhurst, Croydon, CR0 2NH

Limited parking is available.

All teachers and staff are fully DBS checked and have taken child protection courses. Parents are not permitted into the room with their child for their session, but they can wait in the foyer area.

For our SEN and audio provision, we have access to a soundproof studio for when recording is needed for our filmmaking and radio provision.

We are established at the Crescent, which helps with our safeguarding. We are the only hirers in the building so the building is fully locked up, with accessibility from one entrance only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers for parents.

Yes! I promise!! I have written it down and MUST honor it.

Our groups are no bigger than 5 students. Anymore than that and we lose the quality of one to one support. Our £5 sessions accommodate up to 15 students and our £3 online sessions can accommodate up to 30 students.

We provide bespoke packages for all, and find this works best for our SEN students, depending on their needs.

All tutors are DBS checked and on the update service. This means our backgrounds are checked annually, automatically.

Yes! We off a free online session as your first session. This mainly acts as an assessment to check your child’s level. It also helps to make sure you and your child are happy and that we are able to support your child.

We tend to take children from aged 6 to 18 years of age. However, we can make exceptions for as young as 4, for one to one sessions.

We always tell our students to bring a notebook and pen/paper. They will need all their notes for the subject and any specialist equipment they may need – the tutor will normally advise on this.

We take payments up front to secure your child’s place (and to make sure no one else grabs it!). We work a term in advance. If this is not manageable, please speak to Natalie and we can make an arrangement.

Our venue does not permit our parents to enter the classrooms whilst sessions are going on. However, parents are allowed to wait in the foyer area. Please note: We can only accommodate up to 10 people in the foyer area.
